Privacy Policy

LedgerLink ("LedgerLink", "we", "us") provides software that reads completed payments from a business's payment processor and records them on the matching customer in that business's CRM. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Account details — the business name and email you enter when you sign up.
- Connection credentials — the OAuth access and refresh tokens for the payment processor and CRM you choose to connect. These are encrypted at rest (AES-256) and used only to perform the sync on your behalf.
- Payment data (read-only) — for completed payments in your connected processor, we read the amount, tip, tax, currency, timestamp, card brand and last four / card fingerprint, and any billing name, email, or phone the processor provides. We do not collect or store full card numbers, CVV, or bank credentials.
- Technical data — standard server logs (e.g. request timestamps, error diagnostics) used to operate and secure the service.
How we use information
We use it solely to match a payment to the correct CRM customer and to write notes or follow-ups on your behalf. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
How we share information
We share data only (a) with the CRM you connect, to perform the sync you requested, and (b) with infrastructure providers (hosting and database) that process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations. We never sell your data.
Security
Connection tokens are encrypted at rest. Payment access is read-only — LedgerLink cannot charge, refund, or move funds. You can revoke LedgerLink's access at any time from your processor's or CRM's own dashboard.
Data retention
We retain synced records for as long as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us; we will delete it except where retention is required by law.
Your choices
You can disconnect your processor or CRM at any time, and you can request access to or deletion of your data by emailing us.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
